This year, celebrating the importance of its heritage and values, Santoni presents the Andrea loafer, which bears the name of the founder Andrea Santoni. Thanks to research and new materials, the Fall/Winter 2023 season illustrates new codes of personal freedom. Generously shifting from previous seasons, The recent momentum in men’s footwear is triggered by a strong desire to explore new styles that embrace impactful colors and materials while gaining in confidence and sophistication. An attitude that is strengthened with the shoes of the season.

The family-run factory has worked to develop innovative production techniques by implementing modified construction, making the soles more durable – an integral part of the shoe. The company also took an active stance on sustainability and excelled in its precision to greenwash the factory over a decade ago. 

Continuing Santoni’s tradition, Giuseppe Santoni liberated men’s footwear with his design precision and savoir-faire, making shoes for the modern era. Today, the brand’s influence maintains its provocative status between the intensity of color, the opulence of design, and an added dose of accessory components.

The FW 23 collection highlights the new urban silhouette, skillfully cultivating comfort and rebellious elegance, a creative influence characterized by the desire to traverse different eras without making direct reference to them, such as embellishments to bring a mysterious atmosphere to the looks of the season.

The strength of Santoni is delivering footwear that is guaranteed to offer style with a playful, colored touch to attract consumers aiming to find footwear versatile in use and style. Outdoor items have become essential pieces of the season for Genzers. And these styles were undoubtedly influenced by the outdoors, seen through chunky rubber heels for remote workers during these modern office times. This need for protection is also materialized in shoes, with a search for enhanced performance. 

At Santoni, the design was inventive in the reinterpretation of its signature styles. The Italian luxury shoe specialists worked it degrade the patent leather effect into a plethora of nuances, sometimes unexpected such as teal green, for penny loafers embellished with a metal buckle. Santoni also updated a range of dressy boots and monk straps with chunky soles, becoming a blueprint for the brand lately. This season also sees the introduction of a new loafer style called “Andrea,” as in the company’s founder’s name. The company’s archives inspired this unique style; its silhouette was tapered with a flexible sole. New sneakers complemented the offering. After debuting the DBS low-tops last season, now available in a version with a thicker sole, it introduced SneakAir, a high-top, basketball-inspired design bearing spray-painted motifs and the Hy-run running style.

Among the sneakers, the Double Buckle Sneaker is an absolute must-have in the Santoni proposal. The Sneak-Air in green leather is also shaped by color, which is light but bold, vaporized with unexpected and radical chromatic matches created thanks to the air-spray technique. 

The novelty of this season is the Hy-Run sneaker, an innovative concept born from the fusion between a basketball and a running shoe that is told through different color interpretations.
