The mission of Dressing for Success is to empower men to make the right impression with how they dress. They were also perceived as more confident, booming, flexible, and higher earners. In today’s market, it is essential to consider how first impressions carry over into a business setting. And how your attire could positively or negatively affect your outcome.
This Autumn/Winter 23-24 season is an exciting time for men’s apparel. CH Carolina Herrera is a luxury fashion brand. In my opinion, the men’s collection has really been on-point to address the needs of men in the workforce today. The outerwear and accessories help accompany the new fall collection by CH Carolina Herrera. Soft and cozy fabrics appear after warm weeks in knits, wool mixed with cashmere or silk, micro corduroy, and technical nylon. Pique polo shirts add a touch of warmth. Neoprene is seen in pieces to protect us from those first autumn raindrops. The fabrics are typically masculine: houndstooth, checks, and Prince of Wales. The colors are neutral, beige, and camel, from navy blue and black to a bright Herrera red. They appear in blazers, jackets, bombers, coats, shirts, long-sleeved polo shirts and pants, new garments where the cuts have been revised the most.
Learning how to dress for success makes you look good to others and can help boost your confidence. That confidence can lead you to take on more ambitious projects at work at being looked upon as a person of authority.
The way I see it, it is always better to be well-dressed. A few pointers below
1.. Ensure that clothing is clean, pressed, and well-fitted. Wear conservative (dark) shoes that are clean and polished.
2. Be mindful that clothes appear fresh and in style.
3. Never wear a tie without a jacket or with an untucked shirt.
4. Coordinating accessories, such as belts, watches, and shoes, is important.
5. Although there are exceptions, socks, for the most part, should be the same color as your trousers
6. Solid-color business suit, preferably in a dark color like navy blue, gray, or black.
